sadly for us here in australia the market is too small and then the people who have 451s arent into modding them..
even the uk seems very slack, but im hoping the US willkick things along.....
sadly for you guys you dont get the turbo, your really missing out, cant wait till you finally do get it though as the aftermarket and tuning side of things will really kick of then, but till then we just have to wait..
anyways... faster gearshift? a remap wont make the gearshift faster, BUT... there is a company in italy that sell the software to be able to reprogram the gearbox so you can do as you please with it, much faster changes, alter the clutch point etc... who knows whatever really... thing is the large $$$ outlay, but in the US im sure you'd be able to get hundreds of ppl interested in it and that'd bring the cost right down.... then we can all benefit... how about it :D

what can you achieve with the gearbox remap?
it has taken many weeks but my 451 turbo is in the final stages of the remap being finalised!! approx 115hp at the engine, just has an ITG filter and mocal pipe kit...
also with the 115hp tune on it what difference will the digitec stainless exhaust sold by wellsmart do? will there be a noticable gain? or will the tune need tweaking?
also whats the most boost you have successfull been able to run?
mine is up a few psi more than stock, but still well under 10psi.... i'd like as much a possible to be honest, mainly for power gain reasons, but also because it sounds so much better, you can really hear the turbo working!
spools up and can achieve peak boost at just 2000rpm
i hope all that black crap on my tailgate isnt clutch debris from fast take offs!
sadly for me im not in the uk, im sure with bigs ability i could have a very fast 451 by now....
when i get more info about what you can do with the gearbox ecu and i get some more coin i think we will be talking....
just by going off the g-tech pro acceleration graphs a smart could be just over 1 whole second quicker to 100km/h just by quicker gear shifts alone, when compared to another clutchless manual i tested.... not to mention full manual and there'd be no comparison....
but on the gtech graphs you can really see the shift delay compared to other cars, and it's huge!

In the UK we have the following gearbox ECUS
4515458132
Brabus version is 4515458232 and finally the 4515457532.
So PLEASE dont tell me there is NOT an ECU for the gearbox.

Have I talked to my mechanic today it is he has told me that the ecu costs 450 euro for the smart brabus, but how much does it improve the gear?

The ECU for the smart Brabus will NOT work with any other car than a Brabus. Any new gearbox ECU has to be coded to your car at extra cost.
