I have had my Passion for a little over a week now, (best car I've ever owned) and I just noticed that my passenger seat sits back a good 6 inches further than my driver seat. Is this supposed to be like this? Just curious.
it's also because the battery, air pump and tire repair kit reside in the passenger footwell. (along with the tow hook, my smart was towed away yesterday, stuck stick shift of doom)
mr b.e.is totally correct, the draw back of the farther than the left seat travel is the seat belt getting caught in the buckle more times that you want to count...ask me how I know.
i was going thru my wallet yesterday at work, sorta "pre trip" prep (it's been 2-1/2 years since my last flight) and found a key for my old mercedes E-class car i sold 2 years ago! (the previous owner was more "anal" than i, and i received 10 keys f…

It took me two hours to figure out how to get in without damabing the car.

the smart's radio wiring is from VW... found that out when i put a pioneer in my Pure 2 years ago, the guy never saw a smart before, but he said the plugs were VW! go figger!
for the first production, yes, then when they start making more, the proles will get a shot at them. they are after all... toyotas, and toyota is the top producer on the planet. but $32K is not cheap! LOL
Herb, good comments and questions. You point about re-assuring prospective customers is well taken, thank you!
