Sato - thanks for the compliment.

It is 5/8", 8 TPI (teeth per inch) ACME thread.
The thread on the eye is rolled so it isn't affected so badly from dirt collecting in the hole.

My dealer told me that if the car gets ditched, you should only install the one tow hook supplied with the car, in one hole at a time as needed. Insalling a second hook and pulling from both could spring the body. Thats why only one hook comes with the car. I don't know what this has to do with installing bumpers, but I just thought I would throw this out there for information or discussion.

Interesting.... but.... one must already own an Aston Martin in order to buy a Cygnet. see: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/237838/aston_martin_cygnet.html Not a car for the masses.

Thanks again. As a former field service manager in the die-casting industry, I understand your caution with proprietary data. However, you are way too short on contact info and re-assurance to your prospective customers that they will be able to re…

I hate that! I have that done to me almost every day! Makes my smart look slower than it actually is. Why do people not understand that you have to at least match the speed of the traffic you are trying to merge in to in order to do it safely and ef…

my metro took 19 seconds to hit 60 and was scarey as hell when merging, especially when an A-hole with a 6 or 8 goes slow until the last second and punches it, then you're stuck at 30mph while everyone else is doing 60!
