The best way to upload pictures on 451s.com

I have noticed during an upload the pictures with that are more that 2MegaPixels come out stretched.

I think I found a solution for that. When you finish browse for an upload picture the window shows a code with your picture size at the very last line that looks something like this:

.......DSC01941.JPG" alt="" width="3264" height="2448"....

My current size is 3264 by 2448.

By changing the numbers to 405 width and 475 height, I got a much better result.

....DSC01941.JPG" alt="" width="405" height="475"......

Try this yourself and let me know.

Permalink Reply by mr bad example on December 28, 2008 at 5:11am: i just go to paint and "stretch/skew" to 25-30% and save. my current monitor is 15" 1024x768. i go to other websites and view larger pics, but i have to scroll around. for posting, i try to keep pics to 800x600 when i post them. i have a 19" crt that i haven't used in a while that goes to 1600x1200. i just bought a couple of 12" 800x600 LCDs that only use 20 watts, they're ok for most things except for some webpages.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by mr bad example 1 day ago: i just got a sharp lc-19sb25u HDTV, wide screen TV and replaced my monitor with it. 1360x768 res, still pics here require vertical scrolling. speakers kind of suck, will use my 12 year old Altec Lansing computer speakers until i get the gumption up to set up a 5.1 system (it's in a box around here somewhere).; ▶ Reply to This
